Four people arrested in police brutality protest co-hosted by Mercy Junction

Four people have been arrested in a police brutality protest co-hosted by Mercy Junction. The protest, organized by Concerned Citizens for Justice, was part of the Oct. 22 National Day of Action Against Police Brutality.

Arrested in the act of civil disobedience were Ash-Lee Henderson, Janelle Jackson and two other members of Concerned Citizens for Justice.

The arrests followed a night of marches against police brutality with the protest ending in the blocking of Market and Main streets in Chattanooga.

Members of Mercy Junction and Concerned Citizens for Justice are currently at Renaissance Presbyterian Church in Chattanooga, doing jail support and raising funds for bail.
