Homemaking shower for former Superior Creek Lodge residents

Mercy Junction Justice and Peace Center will be hosting a homemaking shower for the former residents of Superior Creek Lodge in East Ridge in the fellowship hall of the center, 1918 Union Ave., Chattanooga TN 37404 from 1 pm to 9 pm on Wednesday.

We’ll have refreshments and some of the former residents will be there to meet guests. Gifts can be brought to the fellowship hall anytime Wednesday between 1 and 9 pm.

In addition to financial donations to house folks, the biggest needs, right now, are for homemaking type items as some of the residents find housing.

These items include:
Beds
Mattresses
Furniture
Sheets
Quilts and Blankets
Pillows
Pots and Pans
Kitchen Utensils
Towels, Washcloths

Other Items that will help are:
Cleaning Supplies
Laundry Supplies
Gas Gift Cards
Pet Crates and Carriers

As we find out about other needs, we’ll post them in the Facebook event at https://www.facebook.com/events/470250783154775/.

If you can’t make it and wish to contribute, financial donations can be sent by Paypal to donations@mercyjunctioncenter.org or be mailed to/brought by Mercy Junction Justice and Peace Center, 1918 Union Ave., Chattanooga TN 37404. Whether donating online or by mail, please make a note with your contribution that it is for East Ridge.
