HOLY HERETICS DEVOTIONAL-Sept. 5, 2016-Acceptance
Compiled by Mercy Junction Administrative Assistant and Reiki Master Kali Meister
“Sometimes people let the same problem make them miserable for years when they could just say, So what. That’s one of my favorite things to say. So what.”
― Andy Warhol, The Philosophy of Andy Warhol
we often let fear paralyze us. It is fear that encourages us to make the same mistakes over and over again. We become accustomed to our failures to the point we can either luxuriate or become comfortable in our lack. A major factor in staying in this place of fear is that we do not like to be judged or feel judged.
We fear offending others or that we will look stupid, so we will go with the flow even when it goes against our soul’s thoughts, feelings, or desires. The problem is that in that moment of asking “So what?” we can feel like you are going against the grain. But, that’s not what “So what?” is.
Being the “so what” person is important because without “So what?” people nothing changes.
Action: Make an effort to ask, “So what?” See what it changes.
