HOLY HERETIC DEVOTIONAL-Nov. 8, 2016-I WAS IN PRISON AND YOU VISITED ME

Compiled by Mercy Junction Pastor Brian Merritt

About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Acts 16:25

Paul and Silas show that there is no “right” place to worship. From the banks of a river, bringing justice to the exploited women, in prison, at a prison guards home and witnessing to their rights in front of the government. If worship is a response to God they did this in a variety and diverse way. Each way different, but all for the same reason: salvation.

Today’s Action: Breath. Let yourself breath. It has been a tough political season, just breath.

Sharing: We would love to hear your stories of the oddest place you felt like you were worshipping.
