HOLY HERETIC DEVOTIONAL-Nov. 13, 2016-I WAS IN PRISON AND YOU VISITED ME

Compiled by Mercy Junction Justice and Peace Center Director Beth Foster

“That’s all the freedom we can hope for — the freedom to choose our own prison.” — L.M. Montgomery, The Blue Castle

So many of us do it. I’ve been doing it. We let the world and all that is wrong weigh us down to the point that we forget to enjoy life. We choose our own prison. And, we don’t have to do that.

Today’s Action: Put on some loud music and dance.

Today’s Sharing:  Does dancing make you feel more free? Lift your spirits? Share your stories on our Facebook page at facebook.com/holyhereticzine

** Don’t forget your gratitude journal at the back of your print edition of Holy Heretic!
