“Yes, I have lived through many miracles. I had experienced tender mercies that literally kept me alive. I had been carried by the love of others, and in many ways I had been blessed.”
― Elizabeth Smart, My Story

Why is loving important?

Love can carry us through difficult times. Love is bigger than us. It is infinite, in fact. We can invite love, but you cannot dictate how, when, and where love expresses itself. We may surrender to love, or not, though love can be unpredictable yet irrefutable.

Love is inherently free. It cannot be bought, sold, or traded. We cannot force someone to love us, nor can we prevent it.

Love is not a substance, not a commodity, nor even a marketable power source. Love has no territory, or no borders.

Love cannot be imprisoned nor can it be legislated. Offering love is profound. And, love is what helps us survive when it feels like everything else is against us.

Today’s Express love where you see love is missing. It may be reconnecting with an old friend, leaving food out for stray animals in your neighborhood, or helping someone carry a who may need help from a stronger body to carry a burden they have.  Or, let love in. Sometimes we are good at giving and yet we are bad at receiving love.

Today’s Sharing: We would love to hear how you have willing given or received love. Share your stories on our Facebook page at facebook.com/holyhereticzine
