HOLY HERETIC DEVOTIONAL-Dec. 4, 2016-THERE WAS NO ROOM FOR THEM IN THE INN

Compiled by Mercy Junction Justice and Peace Center Director Beth Foster

“There’s no place like home. There’s no place like home. There’s no place like home.” — Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz

There is no place like home. Home is where the people you love are, where you are safe, where you are loved, where you are nourished. Unlike Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, sometimes it’s not as simple as clicking your shoes together to get yourself back to that special place.

Today’s Action: Imagine being able to click your shoes and transporting yourself back to the place where you most loved, safest, most nourished. What about that place was so special? Is there a way you can re-create some aspects of it in your current life?

Today’s Sharing: What did home look like in your imaginings today? Share your stories on our Facebook page at facebook.com/holyhereticzine

** Don’t forget your gratitude journal at the back of your print edition of Holy Heretic!
