Fellowship of Heretics Daily Devotional: December 23, 2016 — There Was No Room for Them In The Inn

HOLY HERETIC DEVOTIONAL-Dec. 23, 2016-THERE WAS NO ROOM FOR THEM IN THE INN

Compiled by Mercy Junction Justice and Peace Center Director Beth Foster
“This Earth is our only home. Together, we must protect and cherish it.” — Ban Ki-moon

On that Holy Night, nature was a part of all that happened. Nature was touched by all that happened. A star guided the wise men. The shepherds came down from the hills. The baby Jesus was born among the farmed animals. The Earth and all of creation are sacred. The Earth is our home. The creatures are our sisters and brothers.

Today’s Action: Go out tonight. Look up. Do you see stars? Stand in the silence. Be surrounded by nature. Reflect on this silent night, this holy night.

Today’s Sharing: How was your silent night holy?   Share on our Facebook page at facebook.com/holyhereticzine
