HOLY HERETIC DEVOTIONAL-Dec. 31, 2016-THERE WAS NO ROOM FOR THEM IN THE INN
Compiled by Mercy Junction Justice and Peace Center Director Beth Foster
“Don’t try to drive the homeless into places we find suitable. Help them survive in places they find suitable.” — David Quinn
As we close out this quarter at Mercy Junction and close out 2016, let us remember to always make room in the inn for those who are seeking such a place. But, let us also remember, that some seek a different place than the one we want.
Today’s Action: Give something way today that is not expected. Giving someone a required birthday gift or donation you’d planned doesn’t count. Do something random. Hand someone a $10 bill who is asking for space change. Leave a $20 tip when you buy coffee. Give a stray dog a treat.
Today’s Sharing: What did you give? Share on our Facebook page at facebook.com/holyhereticzine
